Removes Chlorine for healthier plants

Eliminate the harsh toxic effects of chlorine in your greenhouse and garden. The result will be healthier, faster growing plants that have more resistance to pests. The Chlorgon Water Filter removes total chlorine, as well as lead, rust, sediments and odors… Plus, it is pH balanced. Simply attach to your hose bib and hose. Flow rate 2.5 gpm. Size 4" x 3". Replace the Cartridge annually for best results (see 6424).

Protect your Chlorgon:
Do not leave your system under constant pressure that can build up. Turn off the faucet to relieve pressure from the system. Also, secure your garden hose so it does not stress the Chlorgon housing when the hose is moved or pulled.

General Product Information:
Replaceable Chlorgon Water filter eliminates the harsh toxic effects of chlorine in your greenhouse or garden. Removes chlorine, lead, rust, sediment, odor and is Ph balanced. Replaceable filter cartridge item # 6424.

After filtering 10,000 gallons, this filter will still be removing at least 75% of the chlorine. This is the amount they use to get the about 1 year. The manufacturer has not test for the point that it drops below 100%.

Unscrew garden hose from faucet.
Attach Chlorgon water filter to the hose bib by screwing filter clockwise onto faucet.

Trouble Shooting:
If leak occurs at faucet end, be sure to check the rubber seal. The rubber seal should lie flat against the rim of the female connector.
If leak occurs at garden hose end be sure to check seal on the garden hose for wear or damage.
Remove and store if temperatures drop below 32°F.


  • Replace filter annually.
  • Open the filter housing by unscrewing the two-filter halves counter clockwise.
  • Remove and reverse the direction of the Chlorgon Cartridge.
  • Check that the O-ring located inside each of the filter housing halves is properly seated on the O-ring channel.
  • NOTE: A small amount of petroleum jelly applied in the O-ring channel will hold the O-ring in place.
  • Close the filter housing by screwing the filter halves clockwise.
  • This procedure may be repeated periodically or when needed due to lowered filtering performance or water flow.

Common Recommendations:
For removal of chlorine, sediment and heavy minerals such as lead or rust.
