Q. When will my order be shipped?
A. Most in-stock supply orders ship from
Charley's warehouse in Mount Vernon, WA
two business days after your order has been placed. During our busy season
(spring and fall), products are shipped in 4-5 business days. During our
off-season expect approximately 1-2 business days. In-stock English Garden
Greenhouses are shipped typically within four business days. SolarGro
Greenhouses are shipped typically within six weeks.
Q. How will my order ship?
A. Charley's ships supply orders via UPS
for orders going to the 48 contiguous states. For these orders you can
expect a shipping e-mail notification giving you the day the order was
shipped and tracking numbers for each package. Upon receipt of your shipping
e-mail notification, you may simply click on the tracking number in the
message or click
here and enter your package tracking number(s). You will be able to
"watch" your order travel to your home. Greenhouse orders will
be shipped "Common Carrier." You will be contacted by a Charley's
Greenhouse Specialist outlining the shipping charges and process.
Q. I don't live in the "Lower 48",
how will my order be shipped? How will I know what the shipping and handling
charges are?
A. For orders destined for Alaska, Hawaii,
Canada, U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, and all military addresses, Charley's utilizes the U.S. Postal Service. However,
our shipping department will evaluate other shipping methods as well,
and select the fastest, most economical way to send your order. We apologize
that we are unable to give our distant customers exact shipping charges
at the time an order is placed. This is due to the various sizes and weights
of our products. Orders going to these destinations may be charged by
a combination of weight and box size and require special handling. These
package weights and dimensions cannot be calculated until our shipping
department actually gathers the product(s) and boxes them. At that time
Charley's will be able to contact you by phone or e-mail with the
shipping and handling charge. Your order will not be processed until you
are notified and have approved the shipping and handling charge.
Q. If I need a higher than usual quantity
of an item, will I automatically be charged additional shipping or will
you send me a quote first?
A. For high quantity orders our shipping department will evaluate shipping methods and select the fastest, most economical way to send your order. We apologize that we are unable to give an exact shipping charge at the time a high quantity order is placed. Package weights and dimensions cannot be calculated until our shipping department actually gathers the product(s) and boxes them. At that time Charley's will be able to contact you by phone or e-mail with the shipping and handling charge. Your order will not be processed until you are notified and have approved the shipping and handling charge.
