This set comes with a sturdy wire rack and a heavy rubber heat mat. Just place the rack on top of the mat, and set your seed tray on top. Plug in the mat, and it will provide even, consistent heat. As your seeds start to grow, you can start more flats at the same time by placing the new flat on top of the wire rack and the germinated flat above it.
